LAIKAcare PPO 

Summary of PPO Coverage

This plan offers a low $500 per individual annual deductible and the flexibility to choose from a large service provider network utilizing the Cigna Health Network. There is no specialist referral requirement on the PPO Plan, and specialists are covered at a $25 copay (except for in-network Outpatient Mental Health visits, which are covered at $0 copay for both plans).​​​​​​​

LAIKAcare Partner Clinic Plan (PCP) 

Summary of PCP Coverage

The PCP has a $1,500 deductible for each individual and a 100% employer paid membership to One Medical. One Medical offers comprehensive primary care. All services incurred at the clinic have no cost to established members. 

    One Medical clinicians are available 24-7 by phone. Membership is optional, but it’s important to note that there are referral requirements in the LAIKAcare PCP, such as requirements for referrals to urgent care or to specialists. Please note that your membership is effective as of your first new patient visit with either One Medical. 

    Note: Certain services outside of One Medical are available for a $25 copay with NO REFERRAL REQUIREMENT, such as Pediatric Care (in-network), Women’s Health (in-network), Alternative Care (no network requirement), Naturopathic Care (no network requirement), and Outpatient Mental Health (no-network requirement BUT in-network is $0 copay). 

One Medical 

One Medical is a primary care practice designed to provide personalized care that’s faster, easier, and more convenient for all benefits-eligible employees and their dependent family members. No matter the issue, having a place to turn for your health needs can be reassuring. And that’s where One Medical comes in. They make it easier to get care for your physical and mental health whenever and wherever you need it — even from the comfort of home. 

While most One Medical members pay an annual fee, LAIKA covers this for you, your spouse/domestic partner, and dependents. 

One Medical and LAIKAcare 

  • One Medical is in-network with Regence Group Administrators, the provider network for both the LAIKAcare Partner Clinic Plan and the LAIKAcare PPO Plan. The membership is covered 100% by LAIKA. 

  • LAIKAcare Partner Clinic Plan: If you are enrolled in the LAIKAcare PCP, you will be asked to designate One Medical as your primary care provider. The same 100% paid coverage provisions and referral requirements will apply to the clinic you establish as your Primary Care Provider. 

  • LAIKAcare PPO Plan: If you are enrolled in the LAIKAcare PPO Plan, you and your dependents are welcome to utilize One Medical and its many benefits as your medical home base. All provisions of the PPO plan, such as copays, deductible, and coinsurance, still apply.

How to Sign Up 

  1. Download the One Medical app. The app simplifies every aspect of getting care. Book appointments and renew prescriptions with just a few taps. Get care over video chat or messages when you can’t get to an office. Send your provider questions between appointments. Get reminders about important health tasks, like lab work and vaccines.

  2. Let One Medical help you pick a primary care provider (PCP). Call your nearest office and tell them you’d like help picking the PCP that’s right for you. Whether you have a specific health issue or you’re looking for a provider with a certain practice style or philosophy, they’ll help you find a great match for your needs. 

  3. Get care without coming in. The fastest way to reach One Medical for a health issue is to start a video visit on their app. You can also message the medical team or submit a Treat Me Now request through the app. Both have expected response times of 2-4 hours. If you have questions, you can reach the One Medical team at 202-697-5520. 

  4. Book an appointment on your terms anytime. You can quickly book an appointment through the One Medical app or website. Or call your nearest office. 

  5. Get personalized care no matter which provider you see. You can get care from any available One Medical provider at any office — not just your PCP. All One Medical providers have access to your complete One Medical health record, so you can get truly personalized care without repeating your whole health history. 

  6. Get a travel health consultation online. Headed abroad? Just fill out the pre-travel form online, and a One Medical provider will be in touch within two business days to let you know all the vaccines and medications you’ll need for your trip. Once they put in an order for you, you can stop by any One Medical office during lab hours to get your vaccinations. No appointment necessary. 

  7. Engage with your provider in discussions about your care. One Medical’s goal is to collaborate with you to provide care that fits your needs, your preferences, and your lifestyle. This sort of shared decision-making has been shown to lead to better health outcomes — so don’t hesitate to speak up or ask questions.
