Open Enrollment

2026 Benefits Open Enrollment Dates: 11/3/2026–11/14/2026
One of the great advantages of working at LAIKA is the access to our exceptional benefits. We've carefully designed our benefits programs to meet the diverse needs of our employees and reflect the uniqueness of our studio. Our aim is to offer a package that embodies our "employee first" culture, prioritizing choice, equity, flexibility, and value. We’re excited to share these offerings with you, providing resources and programs that support the health and well-being of you and your loved ones—physically, mentally, and financially.
IMPORTANT
This year’s Open Enrollment is a passive enrollment. Passive means that if you take no action, your benefit elections will carry over into the 2026 year. Even if you’re not making changes to your other benefits during open enrollment, FSA elections do not carry over from year to year. If you wish to participate in a Health Care or Dependent Care FSA for 2026, you must actively elect your contribution amount during the open enrollment period. This is a federal requirement and applies even in years of passive enrollment. This year’s Open Enrollment is a passive enrollment. 2026 LAIKA Benefits Guide2026 PAYCHECK PREMIUMS
As we prepare for 2026 Open Enrollment in November, we want to share an update regarding changes to employee health insurance premiums. Beginning January 1, 2026, employee premiums for our medical plans will increase by 10%. Depending on elected plan and tier, this means that for our Partner Clinic plan, there will be an increase of $10-$29.12 per paycheck and for our PPO plan, an increase of $7.68-$35.39 per paycheck. This adjustment is the result of significant increases in overall medical costs and market trends that are affecting employers nationwide. Despite these challenges, LAIKA remains committed to offering the same high-quality, comprehensive health coverage you rely on. There will be no changes to copays, deductibles, or covered services. LAIKA’s plans will continue to provide the same rich benefits you value today.
In addition to medical premiums:
- MODA Dental PPO plan premiums will increase by 10%; between .34 cents to $2.11 increase per paycheck
- Willamette Dental HMO plan premiums will remain the same (no increase)
- VSP Vision plan premiums will increase by 8%; between .03 cents to .41 cents increase per paycheck
We value your understanding and commitment as we continue to provide competitive, comprehensive benefits that support you and your family’s well-being.
If you have any questions about these changes or need help reviewing your options during open enrollment, please contact Benefits@laika.com.
